A voki acts as a convenient way to playfully engage students.
My voki has one question for my students to think about before class. This question will revolve around the conversation that will take place during class and a review of the reading from the night before. In the beginning of class, I can give my students a moment to add more notes and form a complete response to the question posed to them in the form of the voki. Right after, I can open the question to the classroom and begin a classroom discussion.
