Interactive Power Point
An Interactive Power Point is an easy way for students to remain engaged in a lesson while allowing them to visually process the information.
My interactive power point is one
that focuses on children’s ability to correctly comprehend the plot of a
story. For example, in my story, I ask
my students to choose where a princess lives.
Does the Princess live in a fisherman’s hut or does the Princess live in
a castle? I could have read that story
previously to my students, answering that very question. This power point would act as an assessment
of their comprehension about aspects of the plot and the sequences of events. By asking these review questions, students
will be able to concretely grasp plot in a slow pce that suits their individual
needs.
